In the photo here I am talking with Ray Gimenez and Josue Santiago, both from Cuba, but live primarily in the USA. Josue gave testimony about how Christian Cubans are suffering and starving and under tremendous pressure from the government. We all needed to continue praying for Cuba and Christians everywhere. Part of the mission offerings from the conference will go to help our Cuban brothers and sisters as well as other missions ICAL supports.
One if the topics I spoke on was how to develop an Apostolic Mission for ministry or the marketplace.
I said an Apostolic Movement must have an ‘overcoming vision.' And no coalition will ever develop with apostolic leaders who are satisfied with the status quo. And some of you who are concerned about speaking out about culture will not see change happen until more pastors and churches feel the pressure of persecution.
Not until they begin to realize how many of their freedoms and rights are being taken away - then you will see the great coming together of Pentecostals, Charismatics, Evangelicals, and those of different theological persuasions.... I go on with more strategies for today's apostolic leaders.
