Charlie Kirk Set the Example
Charlie Kirk was martyred on September 10, 2025
Apostle Mark Pfeifer and I wrote the following after the martyrdom of Charlie Kirk.
Charley Kirk has embodied what it means to be an apostolic leader. He was gifted by God to introduce Jesus in a way and in places most of us would never be able to duplicate. He was uniquely anointed like no one else we have ever been in our lifetimes...
...as we hope it will be multiplied in the millions of people he influenced, especially young people on college campuses.
We pray, let a generation arise!
Charlie's voice was what ours should be in the world. He did not confine his opinions to the subjects of theology or close it off behind the locked doors of a church building. He echoed the gospel in public squares, on university campuses, in media platforms, influencing the broader marketplace of ideas in our nation.
Through his work, Charlie showed a generation that faith was never meant to remain private or hidden - but to be lived out boldly and consistently in every sphere of society.
Though time will tell, he may be considered one of the most important voices in our nation's history. And from some points of view, he may have saved America from sliding into a far-left liberalism that represents the antithesis of everything the Bible teaches.
An apostolic leader carries a God-given mandate to be sent, to build, and to shape culture with Kingdom values. Charley’s life has illustrated this calling in powerful ways. He has modeled how a Christ-centered worldview can speak with clarity in the midst of confusion, engage culture thoughtfully, and stand firm when truth is contested.
By planting his voice in arenas where ideologies collide, Charlie demonstrated that Christian leadership is not restricted to pulpits but is desperately needed in classrooms, boardrooms, and public forums.
His example has been instrumental in helping believers see their own callings with fresh, new ways. Countless thousands of people have been inspired by his courage to step into the world’s arenas, not shrinking back in fear, but advancing with confidence that God’s truth belongs in every conversation.
Charley has shown us all that Apostolic Leaders are not just church planters or missionaries, but influencers, ambassadors, and builders in every sphere where God places them.
Through his unwavering conviction, tireless advocacy, and bold witness, Charley Kirk reminds us that God raises up Apostolic Leaders for such a time as this!
Apostolic Leaders like Charlie and YOU give the Church a voice in society, to defend truth in a world blinded by demonic ideologies. His legacy will inspire so many people, especially the young, to advance the Kingdom in every corner of culture.
His life is a testament that when leaders embrace this gift, they can shape not only the church but the very trajectory of nations.
As Charlie rejoices around the throne of heaven, we pray for his wife, children, family and friends as they, along with a nation, grieve his death and the hate that caused it.
Now, let's do something about it! Let your voice be heard!
